What should I ask a seller before I drive out to see the vehicle?

Before you drive out, ask why they are selling, whether the vehicle has been in any accidents, whether service records are available, and whether you can have it inspected.

Ask about title status in plain language. If the answer is vague, resolve it before you travel.

Request photos of the odometer, tires, and corners if the listing omitted them.

Write the answers down. You will need them again when you are standing at the vehicle.
