Inspection
How should I log inspection findings while I am still at the vehicle?

Log each finding while you are still looking at it. Memory softens severity once you leave the lot.
Use clear severity marks: Pass, Needs Attention, Fail, and Not Checked. Gaps you record are more useful than ticks you invent.
Update the offer only after the finding is named. A number that moves without a reason is harder to defend later.
Offline logging matters here. The lot often has no signal, so your notes must survive until you reconnect.
